Step into the war

The summer holidays at the Danish War Museum are packed with action for the whole family. We are opening our new exhibition area, Battle-Ready, where you can get up close to a Lynx helicopter and an armored personnel carrier. You can also try your hand at military life by loading a cannon, fighting like a samurai, and taking part in many other exciting activities.

Experience 500 years of war history as you move through our exhibitions. Get up close and personal with the everyday lives of soldiers and learn how weapons, technology and strategy determine triumph or defeat, through history.
